Big 3 Aviation instructors are dedicated to helping you reach your goals through making safe and competent pilots. Our instructors are not just trying to get flight hours. We care about treating our students well by giving them high quality training while saving them money.
Alan Hobson - CFI, CFII, IGI, Gold Seal Instructor
Alan brings decades of business and training experience from the non-profit and various service industries. In 2019, he decided to follow his dream of becoming a pilot. He did his flight training at part 61 and 141 flight schools, learning how both work. He became a flight instructor in 2023, started flight instructing, and quickly became the site manager and a progress check pilot at a flight school. In 2025 he started Big 3 Aviation.
Jesus Coronado, III - CFI, CFII
Jesus's passion for aviation began when he first stepped foot on an airliner during his very first commercial flight, an experience that inspired him to become a pilot. He started flight training immediately after graduating high school, earning his Certified Flight Instructor Instrument certificate at just 19 years old. He is committed to providing each student with the highest quality flight training while building strong, supportive relationships that foster confidence, safety, and long-term success as a pilot.
