Where We Are

We are primarily at Ryan Airfield, 12 miles west of downtown Tucson, Arizona. If you own or have access to an airplane at a different airport in the Tucson area, our instructors can meet you there.

Flying in Tucson

Tucson is a great place to fly airplanes and for flight training. With 300+ sunny days per year, rarely does weather stop general aviation flights. There are enough mountains to learn to fly near and around them, but they're spread out enough to not be be a major concern. There are a good amount of airports without the airspace being crowded. Often there are few or no airplanes in the practice areas. Learning to negotiate the busier airspaces is an important part of training, and that can be done as needed at Tucson International's Class C airport, or Phoenix's Class B just an hour flight away.
